Dong Qi  is a  Lecturer in the Department of Arts in Xi’an Jiaotong University, visiting Scholar at Purdue University, and a member of the International Council of Museums(ICOM) & "Decorative Arts and Design(ICDAD). Dong Qi specializes in Visual Communication，she obtained both B.A and M.A from Department of Arts in Xi’an Jiaotong University.

Dong Qi participated in 2 national, ministerial-level projects, hosted and participated in more than ten horizontal projects. And in the meantime she has published serval academic papers, participated in the publication of 2 monographs and textbooks.

Dong Qi has presided over a number of design projects, over the years her works have rewarded "The Beauty of Books in China” in 2018, Reddot design Award, the German iF Design Award, the Italian A'Design Design Award, the Golden Dot Award, the HKDA Global Design Award, the Asia Design Prize, China's most beautiful travel book design gold award, Xi'an outstanding cultural and creative products gold award, some of her works were selected for the 13th China Art Exhibition, and the Exhibition of Celebrating the 70th Anniversary for Foundation of the People's Republic of China.
